The store is filled with a wide range of treasures for all ages, including some locally made products (they were nice enough to help me sell some of my crafts there). It is conveniently located by the historic train depot and rail trail, which used to be the busiest junction in town. Heading into the weekend and wondering where you want to finally go out and get a bite to eat? Take a trip to Windham and check out Old School Bar & Grill! I have been there multiple times - once was a Moms Night Out, another time for a book club meeting, once with the kids, and also a date night at the bar - and it has always been a good time! All my favorite foods are on the menu, and I have a long list of cocktails I need to go back and try. There is an outside patio and live music (check out the schedule on their website), plus you know it is a fun place to be when the servers are always smiling! This all natural and organic market has food (fresh, refrigerated and frozen) as well as snacks, and supplements, and cleaning and health and beauty products, and they are all good for you! I once went in looking for low-sodium options, and they researched their suppliers to bring in what I needed. They source locally as well, and we had the best holiday meal from meats and veggies all grown and processed in NH. Your pets can shop here too! It's a win-win situation to support a business that supports so many other local businesses, as well as keeping your health in mind. When I lived in Windham, this was a daily stop. Not only is the coffee delicious, but the atmosphere is perfect. There is a couch corner to relax with friends, a long table to hold club meetings, and various items for sale if you are looking for a unique gift. This plaza is right off Indian Rock Rd. which is also Route 111, and located directly across from the Post Office. The only downside is no drive through (an inconvenience when you have young kids), but there is usually parking available and the service is friendly and quick.
