I have driven by Eddie's for years now and never had a reason to stop in until this Father's Day when my husband mentioned wanting some weed whacker thingy that you can change out the attachments. Heading into the weekend and wondering where you want to finally go out and get a bite to eat? Take a trip to Windham and check out Old School Bar & Grill! I have been there multiple times - once was a Moms Night Out, another time for a book club meeting, once with the kids, and also a date night at the bar - and it has always been a good time! All my favorite foods are on the menu, and I have a long list of cocktails I need to go back and try. There is an outside patio and live music (check out the schedule on their website), plus you know it is a fun place to be when the servers are always smiling! Having a local resource for new and used books is essential! This independent book store is a great mix of both. It is very well organized and labelled, and I can literally spend hours there scanning the shelves. Among the newest bestsellers and great condition used books there are also puzzles, games, LPs, DVDs, CDs, and Audio Books. They were also very helpful, looking up a title I have been searching for and ordering the new release novel my oldest child wanted for Christmas! I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful restaurant in my town. There is an atmosphere for every mood, including a bar perfect for watching a game, an elegant dining room for a date night out, an outdoor patio for when the weather is nice, and a function facility for your special event. The menu has something for everyone too, and is delicious enough that I fantasize about my next visit. My favorite? Their antipasto! Ask around, you will only hear good things about Jamison's. When I lived in Seabrook this was our Sunday morning brunch stop. The food was always delicious and I had never been to a cleaner diner! Lots of omelette choices, fun specials, with friendly and fast service. They are located right off Route 1 in Seabrook in a small strip mall close to all the major retail stores. I can't say enough great things about this martial arts studio! We first became acquainted with them 8 years ago when my oldest was having motor skill challenges and karate was a suggested sport for him. It has become an important resource and has benefited our family in more ways than just exercise. It is the complete package, with classes focusing on skills as well as life lesson in manners and safety, there really is no other sport that compares. They also offer training in Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing. My husband and I took kick boxing classes, and I was never in better shape! The entire staff (and other parents and families) have always been supportive and friendly, in and out of the dojo. There are special events throughout the year for all ages, including parents night outs, vacation camps, and self defense classes. They have 3 locations in Rockingham County.
